FOR SALE

Single pieces for sale

Considering material and outsource expenses, I don’t build pieces on spec as a rule. The works here are all one of a kind and constitute my own collection.

Each one represents a milestone of technical achievement and design ( read: they succeeded after considerable R&D ), and so initial build dates are not recent.

There’s obviously a monetary cost I can associate with the production of each piece and the materials used/sacrificed during the ‘learning curve’, but I also have to consider the time it’s taken to achieve each result – which is a little harder to quantify. Should that be measured in years…? (eg: $5k, 40yrs & 3 weeks to make this…? 😉 )

I’ve priced each reflectively ( but value being subjective – nothing is written in stone ).

Cheers, -C

detail from Carved sandblasted and kiln-fired Art Glass Sculpture in Victoria BC installed as entry surround titled " No Stranger To A Fish Dinner" with an eagle otter and salmon

OTTER & FISH : ( For Sale : $4000 CAD)

(not quite as shown)

The work for sale is actually almost the same as this photo – only, without any ‘bubbles’. That was an oversight which I didn’t even notice until the glass was fully tempered and ready for installation…hehe. OOPS..! The piece was to be used as a sidelight, so is about 6′ high – actual measurements can be confirmed for anyone interested.

(As part of a 5-panel entry glass package, the original panel was worth about $6500)

All pricing is based on expenses incurred in production, plus invested time to produce. That said, reasonable offers would be considered.
