C H O C O L A T E 2 . 0

Originally the literal – ish interpretation of the design was to suggest positive benefits of chocolate within our own digestive experience ( The first iteration of ‘ C H O C O L A T E ” -2005 ). By revisiting the design, the work has become more pointed.

The mechanical aspects have been carved more deeply for emphasis, in thicker material.

The idea to suggest the mechanical domination over our natural environment within the implicit fragility of this material – the juxtaposition – a balance of two extremes – a certain need for responsible stewardship.

Handle badly and the work will be lost.

Going back to the pleasurable chocolate metaphor, only in moderation is the effect positive…

Foe Sale : ($10,000 SPECIAL $7500 )

NOTE:

C H O C O L A T E 2 . 0 & T I M I N G . . . are both unique – primarily in the sense that I used 19mm thickness glass. The production logistics of this choice proved much greater than anticipated, resulting in several attempts and higher material and outsource costs.

They have both taken many months to finalize and are now ready for sale.
